Easy to use and inexpensive backup software on the Linux platform is pretty much non-existent, and that is where tkBackup comes in. tkBackup is a Linux desktop version of our popular embedded backup product tkcBackup, and like tkcBackup it is essentially a very sophisticated front end for creating backups and restoring files from them. A backup is only as useful as your ability to get files back from it. On the back end we use ZIP files, so you can take your backup and restore it virtually anywhere with free tools if needed.
