 Is Kapital compatible with MS Money and Quicken?
Yes. Kapital fully supports the Quicken QIF file format, both for import and export. Since MS Money also supports QIF, Kapital is also indirectly compatible with MS Money.
What will the differeces be between the beta and final releases of Kapital?
We will include many features requested by beta version users in the final version. To particpate in the beta program, you can purchase the beta at a discount -- see the main page for more information.
Will there be a demo version of Kapital?
We will soon release a demo version, shortly after the initial beta release. The demo version will have the save function disabled, but will otherwise be fully functional.
Under what license will Kapital be offered?
We will be offering Kapital under a closed-source license. However, we are considering a limited open-source license, under whose terms purchasers of the software also receive source code. We are exploring other options for making the software as open as possible.
Why does Kapital use Kugar?
Kapital makes use of Kugar to make clear and concise online business reports from your financial records stored in Kapital.
How will Kapital be shipped?
We will be offering Kapital for sale as a physical shipment, or as a download. The downloadable version will be offered at a discount. See the main page for more information on pricing and shipping.
