tkJabberPro is our Instant Messaging commercial plug in available for our Aethera PIM system. tkJabber is a free stand-alone version of our tkJabberPro Instant Messaging plugin for the Aethera PIM system. If you don't know, Jabber (www.jabber.org) is an open source, XML based Instant Messaging (IM) protocol that not only has its own server protocol, but will interface with all the popular IM protocols such as AIM, MSN, Yahoo Chat, ICQ and even IRC. We call it 'Pro' because we also have a free edition called tkJabber.

Our tkJabberPro client has been designed to work intuitively inside of Aethera and extend your ability to communicate beyond just email. tkJabberPro will continue to expand in the future to allow chat logs to be filed into your mail system and to schedule events through the calendar plug in.
