tkcWhiteboard is our innovative approach to collaborative, Internet based white boarding applications. Why is it innovative? Because we decided to use Jabber as the transport mechanism. If you aren't familiar with Jabber, then you should read up on it, but it is typically used as an Instant Messaging platform, but the protocol is very extensible as evidenced by tkcWhiteboard.

We also have a Jabber client for the Zaurus called tkcJabber. Both of these applications are also available as plugins for our desktop PIM suite Aethera, which when complete will run on Linux, Windows and Mac OS X.

A PDA is a natural device for drawing, and being able to share your ideas or articulate an image with users on desktops or PDA's is a powerful tool in business. Using Jabber allows you to deploy your own internal, secure servers if you wish, and at a very low cost unlike service companies that charge thousands of dollars a month to provide this kind of functionality.
